Speaking Me Anthology: Online Showcase June 5th

What is "Speaking Me"? It is an anthology that will feature writers ages 10-18. Their words. Their emotions. Their world. Some of these writers share personal stories through lyricism, rhymes and poetry. Others share their gift of writing through prose and short stories.

The project is supported by a partial grant through the Illinois Arts Council and the Department of Cultural Affairs.

The editor is Pam Osbey, CEO of Osbey Books, Inc., a small press publisher.

The collection will feature over 35 youth writers and will be published in Late 2007. Expect a deluge of activities in Chicago, New York, and other cities where the poets reside beginning in early 2008.
